Welcome to the website of Nallard Construction Ltd, a small building company based in Central Auckland.

Our team is small, but perfectly formed. We currently have six builders, all of whom are New Zealanders, born and bred. Our staff are not contractors, they are all fully employed on wages. They have a variety of skills, from Licensed Building Practitioners with years of practical experience, and others who are either nearly out of their apprenticeship or just started

What we do, primarily, are house extensions or renovation work. We do this very well. Occasionally we build houses from scratch, but they are built for private homeowners. What we do not do is build spec houses; we steer clear of behaving like developers, or getting involved in commercial building work.

Nallard is also one of Vero Insurances Tier 1 repairers in Auckland; we carry out a variety of repairs for Vero and affiliated insurance companies, from fixing a water damaged floor to rebuilding a home that has been destroyed by fire.

There is the Boss, a practical guy with 40 years building experience, who still will put his tool belt on when need arises, and who keeps in close contact with both his clients and his guys on site. You won’t find him out fishing or on the golf course during working hours. Not that he wouldn’t like to be, but his business comes first. The Ops Manager does a myriad of things from booking jobs, liaising with clients and sub-contractors, selecting or delivering products, designing kitchens; anything that contributes to keeping day-to-day operations ticking over. Lastly, but by no means least, is the Admin Manager, who keeps the books in impressive order.

All in all a great, friendly team that works very well together and is only interested in producing a top end product. A team with a record of solution driven ideas and applications. We will organise sub-contractors as part of our contract, either using our own or working in with the client’s preferred contractors. There will be a Certified Builders contract, and insurances, and open book accountability. We will help with design ideas, and will work with the Council to get your project all signed off and legal.
